Compassion Center for the Arts

During the 2019/2020 school year (our pilot year) we will offer private instruction on a case- by-case basis. If you have an interest in private instruction, please contact our director at Marcie.Taylor@secondpres.com

You do not need to attend 2nd Presbyterian church to enroll in our Compassion Center classes/programs. We are a non-profit community outreach program and are indeed an entity of the church. We encourage anyone who is interested in the creative arts to attend classes and programs, regardless of religious affiliation.

If your family qualifies for reduced lunches at the public schools, you will qualify for a scholarship which will make your tuition cost between 1/5th and 1/10th the cost advertised tuition. If your family qualifies for free lunches at the public schools, you will qualify for a full tuition scholarship, although the registration fee will still apply. If you have financial hardships you feel should be considered for scholarship and you are not on a government lunch program please contact or director, Marcie Taylor. Absolutely! Backgrounds checks are required for all of our staff including teachers, volunteers and our director.
